What does RELAY share with my team, and how do I stop it?
RELAY only shares while you are driving, and only with your own team. Everything is on Daniel Newman Racing > Relay Settings, under a heading that says plainly what RELAY shares with your team and what stays on this PC.
The controls:
- Share my car's live data with my team is the master switch. It is off by default
- Pause sharing for this session stops sharing for the session you are in without leaving the team
- Leave a team removes you from that team. The page warns that whichever team you leave, your teammates lose your stints from their board
- Keep relaying through the DNR fallback keeps data flowing if the direct route is unavailable
What is shared is your car while you drive: the stint state, fuel, tyres and the live telemetry the strategy desk needs. It is your car's data, not your PC's, and only your team sees it.
If you see "Your RELAY membership has lapsed" on the RELAY or My Team page, the feature is tied to an active membership and needs renewing before sharing resumes.
