Drive. Relay. Decide.

DNR RELAY

Your team races one car, so RELAY streams one car. Fuel, tyres, stint and the pit window go live on every screen in the crew the moment somebody takes the wheel, and stay live through every driver change. Encrypted before it leaves the machine, and sent direct to your teammates.

The problem with team racing

Only the driver can see the car

In a team race the car talks to exactly one person, the one strapped into it. Everybody else guesses, asks over comms, or runs a spreadsheet beside the race and hopes. RELAY takes the car straight off the driving machine and puts it on every teammate’s screen, live, for as long as the stint runs. The guessing stops.

The difference

You race a car, not a list of drivers

Team telemetry is normally sold one driver at a time. You pick a name, you watch that person, and you pick again the moment somebody else climbs in. RELAY does not work that way. It carries the car, and it follows whoever is in it.

Whoever is in the car right now, on every screen in the team

One board, and it never goes blank. The wheel changes hands and the numbers carry straight on, because RELAY follows the car rather than the person sitting in it. There is nothing to pick, and nothing to re-pick.

The feed manages itself.

It never goes blank

A per driver feed shows nothing for three quarters of your crew, because three quarters of your crew are not in the car. One car feed is always the car.

It is never re-picked

No selecting a name at the start of a stint and no re-selecting at the swap. Miss that step in a per driver setup and your desk goes dark exactly when the stop is being called.

It is never disputed

Everybody on the team reads the same fuel figure at the same moment, so the pit call is a decision rather than an argument over whose screen is right.

Who gets to watch

Your best strategist does not need a seat

The person who calls the stop is usually not the person driving, and often not racing at all. RELAY does not ask them to be. A machine with no session of its own still receives the car, so the strategy desk can be somebody with a spreadsheet, a coffee and no intention of driving tonight.

No seat required

The person calling the stop does not need a session, a lobby or a car. The DNR plugin on their machine is the whole requirement, and the car arrives anyway.

No race required

Two of you can see it working tonight. One takes a private test session and the other watches from the far end of the country, with nothing to book and nobody else involved.

No reduced version

Every team gets every value at the same rate. Nothing about your own car is held back for a higher membership.

The strategy desk

See the stop coming

Fuel, tyres, the pit window and the stint clock, all moving while somebody else drives. Watch it through a stop: the name in the masthead changes and nothing else does, because the board is following the car.

What it costs

Included, not upsold

Every DNR membership carries RELAY in full.

Not an extra, not an upgrade, not a bolt on bought separately. The membership you already pay for is the membership that runs the board, and the tier above yours does not get a better one.

Everyone sharing a car needs a membership of their own, Pit Crew or above, because a team is a live shared board rather than a file you download once.

Already on your PC

There is nothing to buy, nothing to download and nothing to activate. RELAY ships inside the DNR plugin you have installed, so the first stint you share is the one you switch it on for.

The entry tier is the whole product

Pit Crew runs exactly the board Team Principal runs. Moving up the memberships buys you other DNR products, and it never buys you a better RELAY.

Every team you race for

Drive for more than one outfit and they all sit in the same picker, with your favourite starting by default. No second subscription and no second account to keep alive.

What RELAY gives you

Six things that end the guessing

Everything the strategy desk needs, and nothing the driver has to remember.

Every stint gets a strategy desk

Fuel, tyres, the pit window and stint history, live on every teammate's screen. The car stops being a private readout for whoever happens to be holding the wheel.

It survives the driver change

The wheel changes hands and the board carries straight on. RELAY works out for itself which machine is in the car, so the new driver simply drives, everyone else keeps watching, and not one person touches a control.

Direct PC to PC

RELAY opens a direct link between your machines wherever your connections allow it, and passes through a DNR relay point when they will not. The board always tells you which path you are on.

Encrypted before it leaves your PC

Your car is sealed on your own machine and your team holds the key. What is stored for you is ciphertext, not a readable copy of your race.

One code links the whole car

Name your team, hand out the invite code, and your crew is linked. Drive for more than one team and RELAY starts with your favourite, so a teammate out racing for somebody else never takes over your board.

It reaches your dashboards too

Every live value from the shared car is published into SimHub, so your DNR dashboards, overlays and Control Decks can carry the strategy picture on the same glass as everything else.

By the numbers

Shared with your team, not with the internet

RELAY carries a great deal to your crew and keeps almost nothing anywhere else.

1

Car, not four drivers

One feed for the machine your team is actually racing. Nothing to choose at the start, and nothing to choose again when the wheel changes hands.

0

History kept

The relay point holds only the newest snapshot of your car, overwritten as the next one arrives and cleared within a day. Nothing about your racing accumulates.

ALL

Live values on your screens

Fuel, tyres, stint, position and pit plan from the shared car, published into SimHub for your dashboards, overlays and decks to read. The list grows as DNR ONE grows, and every membership reads the same set.

Your data

Where your car actually goes

Your car is your business. Here is exactly what happens to it once you switch sharing on.

Encrypted before it leaves your PC. Your team holds the key. What is stored for you is ciphertext.

Direct PC to PC wherever your connections allow it. The board tells you which path you are on, every session.

No history is kept. The relay point holds only the newest snapshot, overwritten as it arrives, and cleared within a day.

Off by default. You switch sharing on, and you can pause it any day without losing your standing choice.

One update a second. Strategy moves at the pace of a pit call rather than a frame rate, so RELAY asks almost nothing of the connection you are racing on.

You can watch the link itself. The board carries the route, the age of the last update and the live data rate, so the connection is something you read rather than something you take on trust.

How it works

From invite code to pit call

Four steps, done once. After that RELAY looks after itself for the rest of the race.

  1. 1

    Create your team

Name the team and you get an invite code. Hand it to your crew, or join with the code a teammate has already sent you.

  2. 2

    Switch sharing on

Sharing is off until you turn it on. Take a session off whenever you like, and it resumes by itself next time you race.

  3. 3

    Drive

Take the wheel and the car goes out to the team on its own. Nobody has to start anything, and nobody has to remember.

  4. 4

    Call the stop

Your crew watches fuel, tyres and the pit window on their own screens, and calls you in on exactly the right lap.

RELAY lives inside the DNR plugin, so there is nothing extra to install and nothing to configure. Everyone on the team needs a DNR membership, Pit Crew or above.

DNR ONE

The car RELAY carries is a DNR ONE car.

Every number your crew reads on the strategy desk starts as DNR ONE data: read from inside the sim, standardised, and computed by one engine. RELAY simply takes that finished picture and puts it in front of the rest of your team, so the desk and the driver are looking at the same truth.

One by name. Won by nature.

Discover DNR ONE

Drive. Relay. Decide.

Long races are won on the pit call as much as the lap time. Give every seat in your car the same view of the same machine, and stop racing your own strategy blind.
