Which dashboard size do I download for my screen?
Every DNR dashboard is built for specific display resolutions rather than being scaled to fit, so pick the build that matches your screen. The downloads page has a help button headed Optimized Resolution Displays that shows this.
The format badges are Regular, Wide, XL and UXL, and they map to these resolutions:
- 800 x 480 at 4 inch, 5 inch and 6.8 inch
- 1280 x 400 at 7.8 inch
- 1920 x 720 at 10 inch
- 1920 x 480 at 10 inch Wide
- 800 x 480 at 4.3 inch
- 1920 x 1080 Full HD
Sizes are grouped by dashboard family: Endurance, Rally and Speedway share a set, Co-Pilot and Invisible share another, and Chrono and Race Control have their own.
There is a full compatible devices list at danielnewmanracing.com/compatible-devices.
One setting worth knowing: some layout features are size dependent. Adaptive Display Zones are not available on the Regular sizes when you are using Wide RPMs, and the delta position setting applies to Regular and XL only.
If you would rather not choose, use Quick setup on the plugin's Dashboards page. It asks which dashboard and which size, and installs it for you.
