What is a creator code and how do I use one?
A creator code gives you 25% off your first payment and credits the creator who sent you. On an annual plan that discount covers the whole first invoice, not just a month.
Three ways to use one:
- Follow the creator's link. It looks like `danielnewmanracing.com/r/THEIRCODE`. The code is remembered for you and applied at checkout.
- Enter it at checkout. The confirm dialog has a field reading "Have a creator code? 25% off your first payment". Once it resolves you will see "Supporting" and the creator's name.
- Save it to your account. On the billing page there is a Support a creator field. It is then pre-filled at checkout, and you can remove it whenever you like.
Things to know:
- Codes are 4 to 20 letters and numbers, and case does not matter.
- You cannot use your own creator code.
- A creator code and a promo code cannot be combined. If a creator code is applied, the manual promo box is not offered.
- A mistyped code never breaks anything; you just will not get the discount.
- Creator codes are assigned by DNR. There is no public sign up for the programme.
⚠️ A creator code is not the same as a partner code. Partner codes look like `DNR-6742069` and seat codes look like `SEAT-XXXX-XXXX`. Those unlock products or join you to an enterprise seat rather than discounting anything, and they are redeemed at Dashboard > Redeem.
