What iRacing controls can I put on a Control Deck?

The DNR iRacing Actions key type covers 71 commands, iRacing only.

  • Pit, tyres: all tyres, front, rear, left, right, and each of the four corners individually.
  • Pit, service: Auto Fuel, Refuel toggle, Windshield Tear-off, Fast Repair, Tyre Compound, Clear Pit, Clear Tyres.
  • Fuel: add 1, 5, 10, 25, 50, 75 or 100, and remove 1, 5 or 10, in your SimHub fuel unit.
  • Car: Enter, Exit and Tow, which taps to get in or out and holds to tow.
  • Camera: next and previous, cycle through cameras you tick, focus the leader or your own car, the car ahead or behind, scenic view and TV view.
  • Replay: play and pause, rewind, fast forward, jump to start or end, next and previous incident, next and previous lap.
  • Capture: screenshot, video capture, reload textures, telemetry record, chat macro 1 to 15.
  • Force feedback: up, down, max and auto.
  • Race director: throw a yellow, clear penalties, set pace laps, single or double file restarts, advance the session, mute and unmute chat, and per driver black flag, disqualify, end of line, wave by and remove.

Two things that catch people out. Race director commands only work if you are the session admin, meaning you created the hosted or league session or were promoted. Some commands are typed into iRacing's chat box, including Chat Macro, Auto Fuel, Tyre Compound and all the race director keys, so iRacing must be the focused window. There is a Focus iRacing For Typed Commands setting in the plugin that brings iRacing to the front first. Pit, camera and force feedback keys go straight to the sim and never needed focus.
