What does 'Connected but unverified' mean for my connected accounts?
If you see "Connected but unverified" next to a connected account (Google or Discord), it means the account is linked but hasn't been fully verified yet.
Why does this happen?
The most common cause is when your DNR account email doesn't match the email of your connected Google or Discord account. For example, if you signed up with "john@email.com" but connected a Google account using "john.doe@gmail.com", the account will show as unverified until you complete the reverification process.
How to fix it:
- Go to Dashboard > Connected Accounts
- Find the account showing "Connected but unverified" (indicated by a gray X icon)
- Click the Reverify button next to that account
- You'll be redirected to Google or Discord to re-authorize the connection
- Once complete, you'll return to the dashboard and see "Connected and verified" (with a green checkmark)
The reverify process confirms the OAuth connection is valid. Your account link is preserved and no data is lost.
