Joel Singleton

At 43, Joel is proof that craftsmanship, competition, and a bit of speed obsession make a pretty solid combination. Born in Toronto and now based in the United States, he’s an entrepreneur and professional woodworker who builds custom cabinetry by day, and chases lap times like it’s still game seven by night. When he’s not in the workshop creating things with millimetre precision, Joel is either on track, in a kart, or reminding everyone he’s been sim racing since Gran Turismo was still loading on a memory card. He’s also partial to sailing, spending time with his two dogs, and bringing just enough competitive edge to keep things interesting. His driving is disciplined, his standards are high, and his work ethic hasn’t slowed down since his hockey days, but his biggest upcoming challenge won’t be on track. With a baby girl on the way, Joel’s about to take on his most important role yet… and there’s no setup guide for that one!
